QR Design Studio
Available on all plans. Logo embedding and advanced presets on Starter+.
The QR Design Studio lets you customise every visual aspect of your QR code β colours, dot shapes, eye styles, and logo β with a live preview that updates as you type.
Accessing the Design Studio
When creating a QR code, expand 'Customise QR code style'. For existing codes, go to Dashboard β click your QR code β Edit Style β Design Studio.
Colour options
Set a foreground (dot) colour, background colour, and an optional separate eye colour. Use any hex value. Ensure there is sufficient contrast between foreground and background for reliable scanning β dark on light or light on dark works best.
Dot and eye shapes
Choose from four dot styles: Square, Rounded, Dots, Diamond. Choose from three eye styles: Square, Rounded, Dot. Eye shapes affect the three corner squares. Mix and match freely.
Adding a logo
Upload a PNG or SVG logo to embed in the centre of the QR code. Keep logos simple and high-contrast β fine detail is not visible at small sizes. When adding a logo, set error correction to H (High) to ensure the QR code remains scannable despite the centre being obscured.
Style presets
The preset panel contains pre-built design combinations. Click one to apply it instantly, then modify individual settings further. Presets are a fast way to try different looks without manual configuration.
π‘ Pro Tips
- Always test a QR code with a logo by scanning it before printing β ensure it scans reliably at the size you'll print.
- SVG export preserves all style information and scales to any size without losing quality β use it for large-format print.
